This is me and these are my people. My crazy crew of five.
They are the real reason I have a fierce love for imagery and making time stand still.
We're going on five amazing years of photographing beautiful weddings for incredible
couples and sometimes I still have to pinch myself that this is my job.
It's a gift and an honor to have a part in your wedding day.
Make yourself at home and if you love what you see, drop us a note or just say hi!
We would love to hear from you!
From a young age, I've always loved photographs. My family always tells me they are not surprised one bit that I became a photographer because I would always take photos with disposable cameras, make my own scrapbooks and flip through old family albums from family vacations when I was a young girl. I suppose that could be why I have always been drawn to film. It's nostalgic quality reminds me of my childhood and the way my mother would take our photos with her 35mm camera.
Fast forward to college, when I got my first real DSLR camera and became fully immersed in photography and wanted to learn anything and everything I could to better my skills. I am completely self taught and attended workshops with other photographers to gain more exposure and knowledge about the wedding industry. I decided to start my own business in 2012 and have photographed many wonderful couples and families since the start of this journey. I'm grateful for all of the clients that I have crossed paths with and firmly believe that you are not here by accident.
From the start of my photography business, I always dreamed of being a nationally published wedding photographer and those dreams came true sooner than I could have ever expected. I work really hard to always produce my best work for my clients and care deeply for each and every couple that becomes a part of the CLP family. I have an organic and creative approach to shoots and weddings, I work with both film and digital mediums to give you the best possible coverage with guided posing that feels natural. I believe anyone can take decent photos, but there's a true art form when it comes to bringing raw emotion to the forefront of an image and that's what makes a wonderful photographer.
When I'm not behind the camera, I'm usually at home with my family. Home is
truly where my heart is happiest. My husband and I have three beautiful children.
Our twin girls are four and our little boy just turned one, they keep our lives so full.
We planted our roots in the small town of Montgomery, TX where we built our
forever home on our family's land. Our little slice of heaven.
